





The dedicated firefighters of the LeRoy Fire Department serve and protect both the Village and Town of LeRoy in Western NY. Protecting an area of more than 42 square miles with a combined population of just under 8000.
Servicing the NYS Thruway and Routes 5 and 19, the department responds to Motor Vehicle accidents and other traffic incidents. The Oatka Creek runs through town causing occasional flooding and water rescue hazards.
During the past year firefighters’ responded to over 300 alarms. Countless hours were spent maintaining equipment and keeping the fire station in order. Training and drills total hundreds of hours per year dedicated to the community.
Always ready and able the firefighters are 100% Volunteer. Make no mistake, the job they do is always 100% professional.

100% Volunteer - Serving LeRoy New York and Beyond
VOLUNTEER DAYS A BIG HIT
The LeRoy Fire Department held Volunteer Days at the station March 6th, February 20th and 21st. This was done in connection with the Disney Give a Day Get a Day program. Everyone who completed the day will receive one free ticket to any Disney Theme Park during the 2010 season.

BETHANY HOUSE FIRE MUTUAL AID
5823 East Bethany Le Roy Rd in the Town of Bethany. First arriving fire units encountered heavy smoke and flames from the back of the house with two exposures in close proximity.
MUTUAL AID TO PAVILION FIRE
On Sunday January 17, Pavilion Fire Department was dispatched for a possible house fire at 11072 Route 19 in the Town of Pavilion. First arriving fire units encountered smoke from the structure and requested a second alarm.
